INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE

Interior Architectural Designer

With a flair for the dramatic and a keen eye for individual and collective aesthetics, Joseph Arzuaga brings a high fashion sense to his work as an interior architectural designer. His designs can be seen in some of LA’s finest restaurants, with projects for culinary luminaries such as Michael Voltaggio, Brian Malarkey, and Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto.

Whether he’s watching his favorite movie “The Devil Wears Prada” or a Dolce & Gabbana runway show, Joseph derives inspiration from all things art and fashion, bringing fresh energy to his role as a project manager with leading hospitality design firm Spacecraft Design Group. From planning and permitting with fellow contractors to drafting architectural drawings and making his design visions come alive, Joseph is versatile and quickly making a name for himself as an up-and-comer in the industry.

Tapping into the client’s essence is part of his magic, whether it’s designing award-winning vegan restaurant SunCafe Organic or Italian eatery No.10 owned by former professional soccer player Alessandro Del Piero.

The youngest of five children and a fraternal twin, Joseph got his start as an actor. Trained at Berg Studios, Joseph worked on numerous film and commercial projects. Life took a different direction for Joseph when he received a devastating blow at 19 years old when his father passed away, setting the stage for him to follow a different path.

Taking the work ethic he learned from his parents, Joseph set off on his journey and pursued architectural design as a career. He began working at premier interior design firm Schoos Design, where he was involved in the design and documentation of residential, commercial, and private projects.

In his free time, Joseph enjoys going to the gym. He is married to TMZ cast member Jaysn Lewis; they were one of the first 18,000 couples married during Proposition 8. They reside in Los Angeles with their rescue chihuahuas Lilly and Luca.
